In Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, Stanley's is a good choice for bourbon fans, especially if you also want a meal. It is at the venerable six-corner intersection of Lincoln, Armitage and Sedgwick. I call it "venerable," because there have always been several good, big, popular bars at or very near that intersection. Stanley's has a large, eccentric American whiskey collection (Old Heaven Hill BIB?) and a menu of "American Classic" cuisine that is a cut or two above pub grub.

I wonder what the chances are that they still have all the whiskies on that list...some of them haven't been available for a long time:Henry Clay, Joseph Finch, AA Barrel 107, 2 of 3 ETL, IW Harper 15, Jacobs Well. It could be worth a trip just to see if they still have a pour or two left of any of those yum.gif
