Here's a few links to update you on some of the news that's happening in "Bourbon Country" :grin:

Talbott Tavern #1 --->http://www.kystandard.com/articles/2006/02/22/news/our_views/ourviews02.txt

For those of you "new" to Bourbon Country...The Talbott is within walking distance of the KBF :grin: On Stephen Foster Ave.

Largest whiskey Barrel--->http://www.kystandard.com/articles/2006/02/22/news/local_news/news02.txt

The location of this barrel will be close to the Civil War Museum...(Prior Sampler location) You will be able to see it from Highway 150 and it's close to My Old Kentucky Home State Park.

The Sampler will not be at the Civil War Museum this year...It will be held "The Bluegrass Entertainment & Exposition Complex...Formerly known as "Hillbilly Heaven" to locals :grin:

Take 31E (in front of St. Joseph Cathedral--Stephen Foster Ave.)...travel about a mile. Take a right on Sutherland Drive (right before Red Carpet Inn---Days Inn is across the street)...Sutherland Drive, will take directly to the new location of the Sampler.

Another reason to stop in Bardstown. Big Barrel!!!

Just what I needed. (Imagine if it got tipped over and rolled down the hill towards the Stephen Foster Theater. HMMMM!!!:rolleyes: :rolleyes: )

I'm proud to say that I've been to every one of those recognized establishments.

Good Choices.

:cool:
