dons
I am looking for for a super sweet bourbon with a heavy body. any recommendations?
TNbourbon
Wellers, whether 7yo Special Reserve, 107 Antique Brand, 12yo, or 'Larue' BTAC (except 2005 version) are good candidates.

T47
Weller 12 was the first one that came to my mind, and I have always found Elmer T Lee to be on the sweet side as well.
nor02lei
I would like to ad Heaven Hill 10 years BIB (rye-recipe) and Old Fitzgerald BIB (wheat recipe) from the same distillery. They may not be among the best sweet stile bourbons but they are both very cheap and a good value for the buck. Leif

ggilbertva
I would second ETL. I would also include VW Lot B.

DemeraraDrinker
Weller, definitely. It was too sweet for me. This was the plain jane white label. As a corollary, one of the driest I've ever had (though it's not bourbon-it's Tennessee Whisky) is Dickel 12. TNbourbon
Hey Tim, as a lover of sweet alcohol, I'd be interested - are any of those you mention readily available?Yeah, Cam -- all I have to do is walk to the other room! Seriously, with the exception of the once-annual, barrel-proof Weller, the others are pretty standard fare around here (well, I DO have to go to KY to get the 12yo, but I make that trip several times a year, anyway).By the way, I'd also agree with Jeff's Fighting Cock suggestion -- I refer to it as 'bourbon syrup'. BrbnBorderline
Fighting Cock or Bulleit
ratcheer
I would say either Bulleit, which I hated, or (this will do you no good) Woodford Reserve from about five years ago, which I loved. I called the WR "candy".Tim
pepcycle
Jim Beam Black is the sweetest bourbon I've ever tasted, but its balance is off, which detracts from being a great whiskey.
Old Lamplighter
For me it's Elmer T Lee.Same here.....ETL.
jburlowski
Ditto on the ETL...
CrispyCritter
I'd go with both ETL and Weller 12. Others in the ballpark would include Weller 7/107, Old Fitz BIB, and VG90.
mrt
Among my very limited alternatives, I find ET and JBB sweeter than others.
nor02lei
I did pop open a bourbon I haven’t tasted before last night. OFBB spring 1990-2003. That defiantly was one of the sweetest bourbons I have ever tasted and also one of the better ones.Leif
Empty Glass
ETL and Classic Cask 18 could have come from the same sweet barrel.
Jazzhead
Dickel No. 12 is sweeter than any bourbon, IMO. All corn 'n Chocks, I love the stuff!
Edward_call_me_Ed
Sweet as the Wellers I have had have been, the Weller 12 tasted like cotton candy when I first opened it, I have to cast my vote for ETL. Ed
Ambernecter
ETL as well - but in a very good way. One of my top picks.VG has a very sweet liquor taste, that again, I really like. Those are the two sweetest I remember tasting.
NorCalBoozer
For me it was the one bottle of Woodford Reserve I had. It had a very powerful sweet brown sugar taste that I didn't like too much. On the positive side, Lot B, ETL, Weller Centennial.
