Barton Tour

Here are the pics of my last tour. The bourbon in the single barrel pic is of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve. It tasted outstanding....barrel proof of course. The pics of the still house where the white brick is showing corresponds to Sam Cecils book on page 130. It is all that is left of the original building. Which mysteriously cought fire durring WWII when the Government stepped in to help build a replacement. The road in front of the old distillery is hwy 31 (old) heading south out of Bardstown. New 31 is about four blocks east of the old hwy. Barton uses the road as part of thier proporty. Barton also has more than one main still. The other was used for grian alcohol, but is no longer used.
