Huegeb
Greetings everyone,This has been perplexing to me as I have researched this and cannot get to the bottom of it. Are Migeters and Hirshce the same bourbon? If not, are they some how linked to gether? If they are not the same, which one is the better bourbom. I am confused. If someone could please clarify I would be so very much appreciated.Thank you.Kindest,Geb
barturtle
Well that depends...are you referring to the current bottlings labeled Michter's and Hirsch, the bottles labeled A. H. Hirsch or the much older Michter's Sour Mash? The first two, the current Michter's and Hirsch, have no relation to the latter two.The bottles labeled A. H. Hirsch were distilled in Pennsylvania by the distillery that made Michter's Sour Mash whiskeyFor more info check this thread and check the spelling (as I have it) to continue your search for more info.
