Treeguy Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 Many moons ago I opened a bottle of either a 12 or 18 year-old whisky that was my dad's that had been sitting around, sealed, for at least ten-years more. There was a sort of sugar crust on the inside top of the bottle and the whisky did taste, well, very sweet.I don't know if the sugar crust formed naturally in the bottle or if there was some kind of contamination or leak.So, to answer your question - I'm sorry, I don't know.
