In the past two weeks I've come across two separate hordes of EWSB 1994, at different outlets of the same retail chain. They have the "Bottled Especially For..." stickers for this particular liquor store. I picked up one bottle at each location (at $23.99), and I'm estimating there are still 10-12 bottles between the two. There's a part of me that wants to buy them out, but that seems like overkill. I suppose the rationale thing to do is to pop one open and see if I enjoy the juice as much as the thought of finding some dusties. (And I aspire to do just that this evening!) Anyone care to share your thoughts on the 94's? I read in another post that these are pre-fire HH. Do you think that matters or is it just interesting trivia?

I wouldn't buy any more of this than you would want for your own bunker and/or gifts. Being a specialty bottling, they are really good as gifts.

A couple of years ago I posted that there was a drug store near my house that had '91 EWSB languishing on the shelves. I offered to pick one up for anyone on the forum who wanted one, but there was no interest.

The 1994 EWSB was one of the better vintages. I say buy what you want, then share the location with other SBers in the area. They'll be grateful, the store will be grateful, and if you don't announce the location in public, you won't see the bottles all on eBay the next day.

Thanks for the responses guys. I didn't mean to come off as secretive or selfish, but rather just want to share my excitement over these finds. I'd be happy to share the locations with anyone in the St. Louis metro; just send me a message.

What's kind of cool is that in one of the locations the bottles also all happen to be signed by Craig Beam. That won't stop me from popping the bottle and eventually tossing it, but it has a neat novelty feel to it.

Reading all of the posts about dusty finds makes me get antsy every time I walk into a liquor store for the first time.
