The distilling process

Hey guys.

Anyone know of any good books/websites that discuss the distilling process in detail? I'd like to learn a bit about the science behind the process.

I have seen a bunch of books on amazon, but do not know which one would be the best purchase.

Any thoughts would be great!

it depends on what you're going for. if doing simple home still in the bathroom or prison cell that's one thing. if doing still down the long dark holler that's another thing. if doing still for commerical production of fine whiskey that's yet another thing. if doing mega-monster-production of cheap alcohol for industry that's yet another thing. what's your interest?

Commercial production would be a good start. I'll stay away from the toilet for now.
