Hello Everyone,
I have enjoyed bourbon for a long time, but have just recently been seriously experimenting with different bourbons and trying to rate them according to my tastes. It follows that my shelf continues to grow to the consternation of my spouse. I have VW 10, 12, 15 & 20, ER 10 & 17 and WLW 2010 among others. I seem to like the wheaters over the ryes, but not sure what the mashbill is for different whiskeys. A brief example...I went to a friend's house for a holiday party. He had four bourbons, ORVW 10/90, WT101, MM and Blantons. I tried all four and preferred the WT101 over the two wheaters. Blantons was a distant fourth. I need to keep drinking. So, back to the bar!

A man that picks out WT 101 as his favorite pour in a blind tasting is OK in my book  . Welcome a board Joe, I hope you find the site enjoyable and enlightening. Have some fun with it, join us in chat (the gazebo) it's a lot of fun. Just kick back and read and learn and post your thoughts as well.

From one Joe to another, welcome to SB. I am a wheater fan myself, although I have a little bit of everything on hand. You sure made Paul's (p_elliott) day by your pick of WT101. If I am Mr. Wheater, Paul is Mr. Turkey. It's all good. Cheers and enjoy. Joe
