Hey Bourbon crowd! I moved to Memphis about 3 years ago and was instantly smitten by the bourbon and whiskey that I've never been exposed to before. I'm becoming more and more entrenched here, and now consider myself a 'whiskey guy' (notice the 'e' - scotch whisky is still a mystery to me).
I've sucked down a few bottles of juice and am branching out into the mid-range, top-shelf and esoteric categories. Been reading this forum for a couple of months, and thought it is about time to chime in.
Current bottles I be sippin:
- Evan Williams SB 2000
- Templeton Rye
- Bulleit Bourbon
- Corsair Triple Smoke
I've even started chronicling my adventures in american whiskey on my own website (http://www.bourbonbasement.com), but the forums look like the place to be. Looking forward to some spirited conversation! If anyone else here is from the Memphis area, give me a holler.
