Weller 7yo Special Reserve

Is it just me, or does anyone else think this tastes like Maker's Mark? Which I guess is logical considering it is about the same mashbill and only a year or so older. Nice bourbon for $10, but I think I'll pay $5 more and get the 12yo.

Only $15 for the 12 yo? I just paid $22 for a liter at Liquor Barn in L'ville a couple weekends ago.

$15 for the 750ml bottle. I haven't seen a liter bottle in Lexington, but I have seen a 1.5 liter that I believe went for about $25

No, I do not think there is any comparison. Do a "side by side" and you will see what I mean. You are not really wrong, but not just quite right either. Don't forget about Brenda! I am counting on you!!

I don't mean exactly, but I get lots of the same "undertones" that I get when drinking a glass of Maker's. I'll have to try that side-by-side at some point, but I'm in no hurry. I doubt I will buy the 7yo Weller again. I'll stick with the 12yo.
