View Full Version : Hello from Kennesaw, GA!
Just wanted to drop a few lines to introduce myself.
I have been a bourbon drinking for several years, but then a couple things occurred that caused me to "step it up a notch or two:" (1) a bourbon tour in Kentucky was big fun!, (2) meeting some very knowledgeable individuals like forum member BigRich, and most recently (3) having the opportunity to attend a meeting of the Georgia Bourbon Society. What a great group of guys!
I'm looking forward to learning more and adding to the ever-growing list of favorites, and sharing them with like-minded bourbon drinking individuals!

Sam, great to see you signed up.
I'ld warn you about the GBS, but you were there!!! and can attest to the fire , Stagg, and dead animal rituals.
I talked to Joe last week, and he mentioned something about a missing 1.75L bottle of Bourbon Supreme that he was going to put in his bunker.
You don't know what happened to it do you?
Bill.

Welcome Sam from a fellow new guy from Georgia.
What he said. welcome!
Thanks for the great welcome from GA and beyond!
Bill: those Dead Animal Rituals were the best - the long dark robes with hoods were kind of uncomfortable at first, but after a few drinks of Bourbon Supreme, you know, what the heck!
Clingman: I took your mention of Dale's Pale Ale as a recommendation, and had a Growler filled with it down at Hop City - most excellent brew.

Welcome, Sam! It was good hanging with you at the GBS night.

Welcome aboard. After reading this thread and others on the GBS, I'm considering cancelling my business trip to Georgia in 3 weeks. I'm growing more and more concerned about the stabilty of the folks down there. :skep:
