View Full Version : Hello from NYC

Hi guys.

To introduce myself, I'm 27, live in NYC, and drink a lot of bourbon.

I have been into beer for a long time, and homebrew fairly regularly, but got into bourbon 2-3 years ago as I have to go out a lot for work and ordering a 'cocktail' was seen as more appropriate than ordering a beer.

Since then I've been drinking across a range of producers, styles, and ages trying to learn how to identify the differences and to identify what I like.

I've been lurking on the forums for about 6 months, joined last month, and made my first post earlier today. I've learned a lot so far from you guys and hopefully can start adding value to the forums at some point.

This site is very good at centering me (with regards to my bourbon knowledge) ... and reinforces that humility is a virtue. Welcome to SB!
