View Full Version : A taste for bourbon
There is a nice article on Lincoln Henderson in the Herald Tribune. Check it out: A Taste For Bourbon (http://www.heraldtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20040303/FEATURES/403030643/1024)
P.S. You might also note that our own Chuck Cowdery is cited in the article http://www.straightbourbon.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif

Thanks Jeff, great story. Lincoln the bar tender. I guess I've got to get Chuck's book. http://www.straightbourbon.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Chuck has in fact written a book (http://home.netcom.com/~cowdery/bluesleg/blue4.html). I have it, and I recommend it to any serious blues fan.
However, if you're interested in "Abe Lincoln's Role in Bourbon History", I believe you will find that here (http://www.straightbourbon.com/articles/cclincoln.html), for free.
Yours truly,
Dave Morefield
Looks like two books I need to get. Love the blues and
bourbon.
