View Full Version : It's a sickness!

Well, I think I've got some sort of disease. I seem to be buying bourbon faster than I can drink it. On top of my standard stash, I got three new bottles from my wife for my birthday. That spurred me on, and I have just now picked up three MORE bottles: Rock Hill Farms, Elmer T. Lee and Old Forrester 100 proof.

Is there any cure? Does it slow down once you've tried most of the available bourbons? I just keep wanting to try "one more" new bourbon.

Is there any cure?

As with any addiction you've got to worry about the "enablers." And one problem is that 100% of the participants in this forum are enablers.

But in any event, could you please give your wife this message. My birthday is on September 15th.

Thank you.

Don't worry -- you can always bring them to the Gazebo for the Sampler (April) or Festival (September), and they'll be gone in no time. Call it the 12-step process (it's about 12 steps from the General Nelson parking lot to their Gazebo!).

Don't worry, I have the sickness too, at least you don't suffer alone!

Let's see. last Thursday I brought home 1 OF Birthday, Friday was another EC18yo, VW 12yo SR and OF Birthday (had to have another of this one).On Saturday another VW 12yo SR.
Yesterday a Bakers 107 and a Makers Mark. Tonight I think it's some more from the VW family and a Rock Hill.......
Sickness, I'll see if that will work with my wife.......
Atleast I'm a HAPPY sick person(with lots of great bourbon).

The top picture is very pretty. It would be nice to set that as wallpaper on the computer.

Thanks for sharing it.

Sit down, pour a drink, that ill feeling will soon pass.
