Spirit TV & Radio Advertising

I've noticed JBW and JD being advertised on TV lately. Today I even heard a Jameson advertisement on one of the Dallas' sports radio stations. Interesting.

Tis the season.
Prior to Christmas and New Years there is always an increase in ads for spirits and champagne.

I sometimes watch "Friday night stand" up on comedy central. There I see advertisements for spirits including Captain Morgan, JD and perhaps Beam.

Also, I sometimes catch rodeo events on some "outdoor life" network. There I see ads for Beam and JD.

I believe the major broadcast networks (NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX) are the only remaining major holdouts regarding spirits advertising on TV. Their hands, I think, are tied because many of their affiliate groups would oppose it.
