Just a quick note to all Michigan bourbon fans, the quarterly state minimum book has hit the stores and as of April 27, 2008 we will see an increase again :hot: ! I did not get to look at all the prices but the Weller Special Reserve you have all been looking for will no longer be $16.98 but has gone to $18.98.
I wanted to check the EC 12 year old, but forgot! I bet it goes up as well!
Stock up this weekend cause as of Monday the increase begins!
YEAH FOR Michigan PUBLIC SCHOOLS! Here's to em! :smiley_acbt:
:soapbox: That's all I got, Tony
Thanks for the info Tony.
Oh, by the way I hope you guys get good weather this weekend down in KY.
I haven't watched the state list closely, but my impression from talking to the guy at the liquor store I frequent is that the prices are continually being adjusted up and down, and not consistently across all spirits. He was grumbling a few weeks ago about having to change all the tags on the shelves. But he has occaisionally pointed out a few that dropped in price. I noticed today that the Rittenhouse 23 (and 20..., if I remember correctly) have dropped and so has the 16 year Hirsch. Not that I was buying much at $200+ per bottle.

What Oscar said. Thanks, Tony. Better pick up those few things that I keep on hand and that are getting low.

Craig is correct and for all you Basil Hayden lovers it's going down to a reasonable price point $29.99 will be the new State Min. Yeah!!! I still don't need any! The one I have never gets touched any way.
Most were going up.

Tony,
Thanks.
I should have also asked about the Van Winkle products as well.
