Got this email today and figured I would pass it along to you folks. There is a link to the tasting notes here (http://www.oldforester.com/email/of6204/tastingNotes.pdf), in case the one below does not work.
I have not yet tried the other editions of this product, but may give it a try this year.
Dear 1870 Society Member,
One of my greatest thrills as Master Distiller of Old Forester is crafting our Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. This truly special bourbon is released each year on September 2, the birthday of Old Forester founder George Garvin Brown.
Well, I'm pleased to announce that I've selected the batch for this year's Birthday Bourbon release. And trust me, this one promises to be one of our best ever.
Go here for tasting notes (http://clicks.oldforester.com/r/CT4FXK/NNTO/P8YH6/9V7A/8QON/50/h).
If you're like me, you can't wait for September 2nd to roll around so you can get your own bottle of this limited-release bourbon.
So mark that calendar!
