bourbonNOOG
Picked up a RITT BIB 100 proof, my first one of these and I'm pretty excited to see what it tastes like. Also grabbed a bottle I've never seen or heard of before, Vintage Bourbon 17? It's oddly looking old label jumped out at me on the shelf. It looks like something I would have seen in my grandfathers liquor cabinet when I was a child. It was $60, but I thought what the hell.
OscarV
Luckily, picked up 2 Stagg 10' and 1 Handy 10'. Likely done for the year with BTAC, given the crazy demand.

MarkEdwards
DOGGONE IT!I walk into the store just to see if the Evan Williams eggnog has hit the shelf yet.I walk out with a Parker's Heritage cask strength, an ElijahCraigh 18, a Maker's Mark 46 (got to try it once) a Landy's XO cognac, and a 4-pack of Samuel Adams double bock.Cost me upwards of USD 200 to look. Yep, I have Whiskirexa Nervosa...

gblick
Yesterday on the way home from work (after a tough work week to boot), I said wtf, and picked up a PVW 20yo, because that very last pour from the bottle I recently finished was so good I wanted to have another bottle on hand. OscarV
It looks like the same problem as last year. The BT Rep must be delivering them to selected stores.I am working with 2 retailers to get them, one in Ypsilanti and the other in Saline. Both have been punching in orders for them everyday for the last two weeks and they keep coming up with, "not in stock".Again it boils down who you know and who you blow.Update;I checked in with my favorite retailers today and both told me the same thing, they keep punching in the codes for BTAC and it keeps coming up "out of stock". I told them that stores in Wayne County and Ann Arbor have them. So it looks like the Rain Vodka salesman is indeed taking care of who strokes him and vice versa. Also they get no answer when calling the BT/Rain Vodka rep and no return call after they leave a message.Looks like I'll be driving to Chicago or buying on eBay. SBOmarc
This has been going on out here for some years now. If you don't feature, sell and move Rain vodka, you get no allocation from BT.
StraightBoston
My local would sit on the cases of Rain in his storeroom for 9 months and return them the following summer, just to get an allocation of Stagg. Worked for a few years, but he came up dry in 2009 -- I think they caught on!

DeanSheen
'Twas a good day...Nice haul, good taste. Only thing I would have done different is take those Pappy 23's and convert them to any of the others except the OE.

smokinjoe
'Twas a good day...Well done! Heck of a line-up, and so glad to see the Old Ezra in there. One of my faves. And, most times I enjoy it as much, or more, than those expensive bottles sitting on that table.:toast:
