I think these guys are confusing the two KCs. The standard version is 100 proof while the new KCSB is 120 proof.

He might but I am not, well aware of the difference and ive seen them all over. I picked up a couple at Green's package, it was at 4 I stopped at while in town all in the larger stores and it was not minimal. Already had big displays.

I believe it was spotted on the shelf in KY and was also left behind.

Yes. I saw it in Lexington, but did not purchase any.

I am sure if I searched around enough I would find the answer to this question, but I am going to take the easy way out - will the Knob Creek Single Barrel be a one-time offering or is this a new regular bottling?

Joe, I thought I remembered reading that only the very first year of the Pappy 20 was rye-based, or am I mistaken? How many years did they put the rye-based PVW20 in green glass at Lawrenceburg, does anyone know?
I did a search and found some info regarding this, see post #10:

I wonder what this green glass Lot B from Lawrenceburg is, not that it really matters much, I'm just curious.

It ain't Bigfoot, but next time I see it, I'll take a pic on my phone for you since it's pretty far fetched to believe that we get premium bourbon here in the South.

Hey that's great, I believe you. I'm surprised someone hasn't bought a bottle and tried it especially since it's been talked about here for a while. It's always nice when the big boys give us a high proof offering.

Had the girlfriend stop at a Binny's in Chicago for me today. Nothing like shopping on the phone but picked up a bottle of ORVW 107 and grabbed a bottle of scotch, Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix. Passed on it when I was there last week but decided to get one for s/g's. May never drink and give away for gift but great conversation bottle.

She gets pissed everytime she see's a bottle of Pappy 20 in a red bag because the one she got me for Christmas didn't.... Women.

VOB BIB and Wild Turkey 101. Just reloading the standbys.

This 101 bottle is more enjoyable to me that my recent WTKS '09 purchase. Live and learn.......

A buddy of mine brought back a bottle of Templeton Rye. Enjoyed a nice pour.

Picked up a Lot B and another EWSB 2000. Found a stash of barrel #55. Since all mt other ones are in the 600 and 900s, I think I might grab one for comparison.

Local store here got in a barrel pick of Four Roses SBBS OBSK at 123 proof. The price is $30. I thought it must be a mistake, especially when I looked at a bottle of the regular single barrel standing right next to it for the same exact price. I asked the guy behind the counter, but he wasn't much help.

I don't understand it, and still kind of feel like it's a mistake, but I'm not complaining. I'm going to taste it tonight and if it's delicious will be back for more at that price.

Picked up my first bottle of Pappy 20 year. Can't wait to try this after a long day at work.

Also pre-ordered a bottle of the 15 year, and bought a bottle of the Eagle Rare 17 year.

Have some nice drinking ahead of me.
