CaptainQ
Florida and Atlanta have the new Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve 120 proof bottling already?I think these guys are confusing the two KCs. The standard version is 100 proof while the new KCSB is 120 proof.

I picked up a couple at Green's package, it was at 4 I stopped at while in town all in the larger stores and it was not minimal. Already had big displays. peb
I believe it was spotted on the shelf in KY and was also left behind.Yes. I saw it in Lexington, but did not purchase any.I am sure if I searched around enough I would find the answer to this question, but I am going to take the easy way out - will the Knob Creek Single Barrel be a one-time offering or is this a new regular bottling? gblick
Joe, I thought I remembered reading that only the very first year of the Pappy 20 was rye-based, or am I mistaken? How many years did they put the rye-based PVW20 in green glass at Lawrenceburg, does anyone know?I did a search and found some info regarding this, see post #10:http://www.straightbourbon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3494&highlight=lawrenceburgI wonder what this green glass Lot B from Lawrenceburg is, not that it really matters much, I'm just curious. I'm surprised someone hasn't bought a bottle and tried it especially since it's been talked about here for a while. It's always nice when the big boys give us a high proof offering. chefnash51
A buddy of mine brought back a bottle of Templeton Rye. Enjoyed a nice pour.Picked up a Lot B and another EWSB 2000. Found a stash of barrel #55. Since all mt other ones are in the 600 and 900s, I think I might grab one for comparison.
nivto
Local store here got in a barrel pick of Four Roses SBBS OBSK at 123 proof. The price is $30. I thought it must be a mistake, especially when I looked at a bottle of the regular single barrel standing right next to it for the same exact price. I asked the guy behind the counter, but he wasn't much help.I don't understand it, and still kind of feel like it's a mistake, but I'm not complaining. I'm going to taste it tonight and if it's delicious will be back for more at that price.
