If I understand your question; the ORVW 15 year squat bottle is the predecessor to the PVW 15. The ORVW 15 year is Stitzel Weller bourbon. There's many posts related to the ORVW 15 and using the search function should bring back many hits. Rumor has it that PVW15 will be going away this year and the fall release will go back to the ORVW15 squat bottle. All rumor but an interesting one nonetheless.

Evan Williams SB 2000, barrel #508. It might have been cool if they had shuffled all of the bottles around so that each store had different barrels on the shelf. Then the store owners could watch certain customers pull all of the bottles off the shelf and look through them.

Where's around here? I live in VA and it's $50 for Lot B. I can cross over into MD and if I buy it by the case, it's only $29.44 + tax. $55 seems high.

I like all the rumors, reminds me of being back in High School, only the star quaterback is Pappy Van Winkle.

It's listed as such on the price sheets, but it's not so easy to locate. Just goes to show you how much taxes and markup play in the liquor game.

I picked up an '07 sazerac 18 yr. I'm looking forward to this one. I have become quite fond of ryes lately, and am really enjoying what they have to offer.

I bought a bottle of Old Fitz. I'm slumming it since I've burnt up by liquor budget until April.
