jcg9779
I'm still finishing off a bottle of EWSB 2000 before I open my 2001. How do you find the 2001 in comparison to the 2000?After a big night last night I'm keeping it low key with WL Weller Special Reserve - just needed something light and easy to drink tonight!Moved on to some Hudson Whiskey Baby Bourbon - I do like this bourbon a lot, but it won't be a repeat purchase - way too expensive for what you get! Khomeinist
I'm still finishing off a bottle of EWSB 2000 before I open my 2001. How do you find the 2001 in comparison to the 2000?After a big night last night I'm keeping it low key with WL Weller Special Reserve - just needed something light and easy to drink tonight! The 2001 EWSB has grown on me. It compares favorably with the 2000. Usual caveats about barrel variation are worth mentioning. Cheers.
smokinjoe
DP's pick of Willett 22 yr 136.7 proof Rye , Barrel# 618. I don't go to this bottle very often, because I value it's contents so much. Which in a way, is a shame, I know. It is spectacularly great whiskey. I've probably said this before, but it's worth repeating: It is one of the 2 or 3 greatest whiskies that I have ever tasted. bourbonNOOG
The parents came over for dinner last night. Dad and I had a pour of FR 2009 Mariage, followed by a pour of KCSB. The Mariage is stunning, very complex stuff. If I ever see another bottle of it I think I wouldn't hesitate taking it home with me.
