Cold, wet and thunderstorms today and tonight. Forester Signature is the choice.

I'm still finishing off a bottle of EWSB 2000 before I open my 2001. How do you find the 2001 in comparison to the 2000?

After a big night last night I'm keeping it low key with WL Weller Special Reserve - just needed something light and easy to drink tonight!

Moved on to some Hudson Whiskey Baby Bourbon - I do like this bourbon a lot, but it won't be a repeat purchase - way too expensive for what you get!

Been enjoying Pappy 15 since noon today. This has been the tastiest bottle ever! Stopped for some sushi then back at it.

Inspired by white dog and decided to start early!

Willett 17 yr (sv) cut to 107 then some Jim beam distiller series. Next up wild turkey 101 then maybe some Saz 18 or vintage 21.... Or both

I had JB six grains before dinner yesterday, ORVW 10/107 2002 with the nut pie for dessert and OGD 114 as a night cap. Everything tasted splendid.

The 2001 EWSB has grown on me. It compares favorably with the 2000. Usual caveats about barrel variation are worth mentioning. Cheers.

DP's pick of Willett 22 yr 136.7 proof Rye , Barrel# 618. I don't go to this bottle very often, because I value it's contents so much. Which in a way, is a shame, I know. It is spectacularly great whiskey. I've probably said this before, but it's worth repeating: It is one of the 2 or 3 greatest whiskies that I have ever tasted.

1977 Old Crow, then 07 WLW. Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum. Joe

The parents came over for dinner last night. Dad and I had a pour of FR 2009 Mariage, followed by a pour of KCSB. The Mariage is stunning, very complex stuff. If I ever see another bottle of it I think I wouldn't hesitate taking it home with me.
