As it is the same here only now it is thunderstorming too I'll join you with Rare Breed from 1995. I also had to sit through 35 degrees and rain at the White Sox game last Saturday, with a 2 hour delayed start thrown in.

Thought I would keep it simple tonight so I am having Blanton's and Eagle Rare. Last nights four rye tasting left me with a sour head.

Handy 2010, FRSB, and PVW 15 (followed by two Left Hand Milk Stouts) as I watched the Mavericks/Trailblazers game and then the Braves.

Also trying Old Forrester for the first time tonight...this has a lot more burn than the JB white (which had more like a tingle, actually). Interesting that 43 proof really makes a big difference over 40 proof.

Sorry if that confused. Should have said 86 proof vs. 80 proof. I was using the ABV numbers.

I'd really like to try some of that Hotaling's by the way. I was really curious to try the 19th century rye. Can't get either in my city.

A 1988 vintage Demerara rum before dinner, handy 2010 after and OGD 114 as a night cap right now.

This evening it is Eagle Rare 10 and Blanton's. I might throw in a pour of 2001 Evan Williams Single Barrel.

Sent the ER 10/90 to the recycle bin and cracked a fresh RITT BIB.

Sometimes I feel sad pulling another bottle out of the bunker, but mostly because it's such a PITA to get most of my favorites.

Just a small pour of some Maker's (Birthday Gift).

Ahh glad you didn't pay for it! (PWD)

Angels Envy. It's a very interesting bourbon. I like it with a little ice. I seem to get more of the port flavors that way.

Just opened up one of the 3 PHC10 124.2 bottles I got this weekend. Man that stuff is amazingly smooth and sweeter than many would think it would.

I'm going to try to snag some Jim Beam small batch with Port while I'm in Syndey next month! I like Port and I like Bourbon. I wan't too sure I would like the combination until I tried Angel's Envy at Whiskeyfest NY last year.

I started off the evening with a small pour of Irish - Black Bush. It is very light and tasted pretty good. Next, I opened my bottle of WTRB. I thought it was extremely good and had an almost buttery taste to me. Then came a pour of Old Forester Signature and I ended the night with a pour of PVW 15.

I'm nursing my last bottle of EWSB 2000, WTRB, FRSB, Rittenhouse BIB, and my latest bottle of Bernheim.

Started the evening with Evan Williams Single Barrel 2001 and will end the night by finishing off a bottle of Eagle Rare 10.

PHC50 - very very nice. Lighter and crisper than expected, given the reported mix of aged barrels. It's almost delicate. I opened up a bottle last night and am drinking again tonight. I really like this.

I started off the evening with the same pour that I finished last night with - PVW 15. Then I finished off the night with some WTRB.

I had a pour from my mid 80's Bond & Lillard last night. The nose is almost non existant, but it has pretty good flavor, specially for a 80 proofer. Almost tastes like a wheated bourbon, it is so sweet.

I had the exact same pours in the same order last night.

I was kind of nervous that starting with PVW15 would make whatever I had afterwards not taste as good, but the WTRB definitely held up.
