ORVW 10/107.

I was in the mood for a Manhattan but I don't know if the vermouth in the basement fridge is still good and I have no cherries.

Weller SR for the second night in a row followed up by some EC 12. Will probably go with VOB BIB as my last pour of the evening.

ORVW 10/107 x a few

I've been alternating between this and RITT lately. Works for me.

Bit of WT 86 from 1984.... amazing juice to say the least......

Yeah, that 86.8 is just about as good as it gets on the "low proof-high taste" scale.

Old Charter 8.

Taking some time off from the expensive bottles while on spring break with the family.

Going to the Virgin 7 yr 101, to start things off. Now, I'm on to last year's "A" bottling of VWFRR. I find The Virgin to be an exceptional, nicely aged, high proof bourbon, and I am a big fan of it. And, for $13, it's a great bargain. The VWFRR, at 4X's the price, is just as great a bargain, though.

A rare event, here -- a Woodford Reserve airplane mini.

Had a fabulous pour of Pappy 15 (2007) last night. Still very near my favorite, that's for sure.

About what year was that bottled?

As far as I know, Civic Center slowed down on barrel selections a few years back. But then, for some of us in the Bay Area it's harder to cross the Bay Bridge than to go to Kentucky. I hardly ever am in the City.

ETL Civic Center bottling #7.... balanced, rich and very creamy.

An impromptu mingling of RittBIb with a bit of Hancock's on the rocks as I fried some pork chops. Then some JDSB after dinner.

Old Grad-Dad tax stamped ND bottling. 86 proof. Beautiful carmel/vanilla sweetness with incredible depth and richness. :yum: They don't make 'em like this anymore.

Had our son, daughter-in-law and five granddaughters over for dinner. The girls range from 11 yoa to 9 months. To say it was busy and noisy is an understatement. Their gone now so it's time to relax with some Baker's 107. Piece and quiet.
