I hear ya, GH... had a long, loud, brutal rehearsal tonight and a healthy pour of HH 8/86 proof over ice helped wind me down. Followed by some WT Rye (I guess the HH didn't have enough bite).

It's been a very long time since I mixed a bourbon and coke, but it was delicious and refreshing after a long day in the hot sun. Enjoyed some OGD BIB in Coke Zero as we cooked chicken on the grill.

Enjoyed some Bookers last night. It tasted amazing. Once of my favorite pours at the moment.

4R1B, neat.

I picked this one up last week and it is the rye spiciest 4R1B I have ever had.

It tastes like a rye whiskey. Love it.

Warehouse No: DS

Barrel No: 4-6S

While getting the Tullamore Dew out for the misses I discovered an unopened bottle of Bulleit that had gotten pushed to the back. So I'm having Bulleit this evening. Going down good.

Buffalo Trace - Binny's single barrel

Funny what you find at the back of the cabinet.

Bowling again tonight. They were out of MM. I didn't want Beam White or Red Stagg. :bs: Thank goodness the bartender found a bottle of WT 101. It was a good night. 253-204-224=681 Cheers Paul. Joe

I went to the store looking for some Yellow Label to hit the shelves in OH and I have to wait another week.

Instead I came home with a 4RsmB. Never disappoints. My favorite 4R regular expression.

It's going well with the Tribes 10 run inning in Seattle tonight and Hafner's grannie.

Last Night: 4R Yellow, 4RSmB, WT101, PHC 10yr cut to 107, Bookers.

This morning: Bloody Mary. Oh wait, that's not bourbon.

Last nights big winner for me was WT101 (:yum:) with Bookers coming in 2nd. Although I must say by the time I was done, my pallat was spent.

Just got in from yard work, and am trying to keep myself from guzzling this whiskey sour (Costco bourbon). It's a warm one out there today. I think I'll top off what's left with a touch more bourbon, and retire to the hammock and gaze at the blooming dogwoods and azaleas....y'all. Just 2 requests: 1) Someone, please tell me that Phil is not continuing to try and hit every tree at Augusta with his golf ball, today, like he did the first two days. 2) Someone, please wake me for dinner...

starting off with a pour of Weller 12 from 2007...nice bottle but pretty one dimensional.

Pure Kentucky XO, it had been looking lonely on the shelf for months. Seemed like a proper time to take it home.

My fiance's mother bought me some WT rare breed after dinner...they drink wine, I drink a fine bourbon. Love my passion for this stuff. Another great batch.

Had an open spot on the shelf, so I opened a liter of ER 101/Frankfort. :yum: Joe

Enjoying a Dickel #12 on the rocks, on the front porch on what seems like a June, not April, afternoon.
