stevegoz
Having friends over for poker -- plan to work my way up the ladder. Benchmark 8 to start? Then perhaps some BT and ETL. Likely to end the eve on Blanton's again, perhaps some ER 17 as well.

BMartin42
We had a "finish off the almost empty" tasting at a friends house last night. Everyone brought at least 2-3 bottles. Let's see if I can remember:FR1BKentucky VintageMM 46WTRROGD 114KCSBRHancock WTASI think that's the list that I helped kill off. The choices were quite varied. nivto
I had some friends over yesterday afternoon/evening for a game of risk and bourbon drnking. The game lasted 6 hours and so we did a lot of sipping. We went through in order 1971 Old Fitz Prime 86.8, 1980's IW Harper 86, Whistlepig Rye, OGD 114, Party Source's Willett 6 YO, R&E Willett 6 YO, 2010 WLW, and capped off the evening with some 2010 GTS. Not a bad one in the bunch  "The Ukraine? You know what the Ukraine is, it's a sitting duck. A road apple, Newman. The Ukraine is weak. It's feeble. peb
A little Weller 12 tonight. I just finished a bottle of Lot B about a week ago. While I think Lot B is better than Weller 12 (but not by much), I think Weller 12 is one of the best value bourbons period along with Four Roses Single Barrel. I guess that's why the local establishment that I frequent here sold out of the Weller 12 in one day. I was in the store to buy some homebrew stuff, saw the Weller and bought one bottle. The next day all of it was gone. It almost went as fast as the Pappy and BTAC. I really wish I would have bought another bottle or two. People are bourbon crazy here in Lexington...
