Cracked open a bottle of lot b today...I haven't had this bottle open in about 9 months and I regret that it's been that long since I've had it. Boy does it open up nicely after about 45 mintues in the glass...Kudos to JVW and BT for another great product!

I agree. I can't imagine not having one open for enjoyment.

I'm currently sipping some OC 12/90.

George T. Stagg. Finally got a bottle of this after much searching. Found a store that had a "lost" case. I think the Stagg made the VOB BIB I had later taste better :skep: (If that's possible)

Started the evening with several pours of Four Roses Small Batch and will end with several pours of Buffalo Trace.

More like a numb throat. It hangs there for about five minutes!

I moved to OGD 114 and now Bulleit Rye. Contemplating my dessert/night cap glass as we speak.

It's definitely a bourbon to save for last if you're not cutting it.

Hey, Tom, any time. :) But really you can do this yourself, you don't need 23 year old rye either. As a base, a young vigorous whiskey, much lesser of one twice as old, then a dash of something woody (doesn't have to be that old). Easy.

Long day, with longer days ahead. Kicking back with some WTRB to relax. On positive note, my 4 pack of glencairn glasses are coming thursday, so that's cool.

OWA NAS and it's tasty as usual.

Watching Joe Smith throw 9 consecutive balls. Ahh a strike finally. Good.

Eagle Rare Single Barrel 10. I just had the 17 over the weekend and I am actually preferring the 10.

No shame in that. You could buy 2 bottles of the ten and have a couple bucks left over for the price of one 17.

It's kinda like the Handy - Baby Saz equation. At least the Handy is more competitive in that you get extra proof.

I was staring at my Everett's tonight contemplating opening it. I'm thinking that will happen sooner rather than later. It is a tremendous bargain.

Ahh crap, I have the 1.75's which are the mingled versions I think. Still, I'm looking forward to trying them.
