What did you and your friend prefer from each tasting?

The only one that really walked away from its opponant was the EWSB. I really liked the 40 Creek. Something different, ya know? I thought Corner Creek was kinda blech. The others were too close to call. Shocked how different the two Old Rips were!

enjoy the show! Live music is the best music. My wife and I saw Wilco earlier this month on a Tues. night. Great show! If I didn't have to drive the 2-hour round trip I would've enjoyed a few pours beforehand myself.

Just some AAA 10 year old. I'm really glad I rediscovered this bourbon after 31 years. Easy drinking pleasure.

I had a pour of Redemption High Rye Bourbon last night. I thought it tasted pretty good.

Having some Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey. Definitely different. Not sure how I feel about it, yet. I can't figure out what it tastes like... maybe a Bourbony Irish?

Started with about an ounce of Weller SR neat, and followed that with a couple ounces of EWSB 2000 (Julio's barrel) neat. Thinking about finishing up with a Willett Family Reserve SB 6yo ... hmmmm..... OK. It was a tough week.

Summer has come to Dixie. I know this, because I'm sittin' out here on a warm early evening, in my garage listening to the Braves pre-game show on the radio, with a fat pour of OGD 114, and I've spotted the first bats of the season dancing in the sky eatin' skeeters. Yep, Summer is here. And, it's good....

Cheers, y'all!

Hell yeah! It's about time for Summer to get here. It's 75 deg. in Ohio and I'm lovin' it. OGD BiB in my glass as I type this.

Louisville label Special Reserve kicked up a notch with just a bit (at most 4 to 1) of current 6 year HH BIB. A beautiful night in Chicago also allowed for sitting outside with additional pours of a 2010 JD single barrel and Bonded Beam, distilled in spring 1963 and bottled in fall 1971.

Started the evening with several pours of AAA 10 year old. Now I have switched to Blanton's.

Just tried some BTEC 1993 lost barrel. Has an easy to drink taste to it.

Goes down easy.

Opened a new PVW15 and accidentally poured a bit too much. OOOOOPS:rolleyes:

Having some Vintage 21 rye now. It's definitely gotten better over the past couple weeks as its had time to open up a little. Not a ton of change but I get a little less wood on the finish. Went from very very good to amazing imo.

A few small pours of the High West Bourye and finished up with the High West 16YO which I think is the best of their offerings....

This morning small samples of two powerhouse bourbons.

PHC 2010 and PVW15, it's remarkable how good both taste and I'm amazed how similar they are.

Both go well with the morning coffee.

Celebrating the Preakness with some Cork N' Bottle select single barrel of OWA. Even though it's in my own back yard, thanks to Oscar for turning me on to this bottling. Very, very nice stuff... indeed.

Having my first ever pour of Old Ezra 101. This stuff beats the crap out of FR Yellow Label... hands down!

Spending the weekend out of town attending to a family crisis, though I had the presence of mind to bring along a flask of VOB BiB.

Decompressing with a nice pour now.
