Picked up a bottle of Old Forester Signature. Needed some "cheaper" bourbon to drink and it's not bad at all. I certainly prefer it over that over-priced Woodford Reserve!

Thanks Joe, it was a fun day! And yes it did exceed my expectations, really didn't think I'd find any VW's, but no way did I think I'd find the OF's or WT:shocked:

Acquired a couple more Bowman 18 year. I had picked some up at Bowman while touring the distillery a couple weeks ago but decided on a couple more. Great bourbon and the age is well balanced; not tannic or woody by any means.

It's not bourbon but I ordered two more bottles of Bowman Rye. My present bottle will give up it's last several pours tonight. I really like this rye.

I went Christmas shopping for myself this week:

4x PVW 15

8x PVW 20

1x PVW 23

2x Parkers 2011

2x FR LE 2011

1x OFBB 2011

Some of them disappeared shortly after I got home. I assume I will see them wrapped up under the tree? I better make sure I get the wife good presents so I get my bourbon back! :lol:

Great job! I have the PVW20 here atm, has to be the best so far....

Not bourbon, but I picked up a bottle Penderyn Welsh whiskey, which was on the Bourbon aisle at Goody's this weekend.

Picked up two bottles of ORVW 10/107 courtesy of the PA Liquor Control Board website. Also grabbed a bottle of WSR to share with the in-laws over the holiday.

Got the new WRMC Rye set for, get this, $50. The store owners had no idea what they had, lol. Might get another set, they have 3 more

Got the call at work that they got in the VW today and had my request set aside.

When I got there and found my guy, he brought me to the back to pick it up. Then he asked if I would like anything else. Originally they had for me one of each of the 20, 15 and rye. After a bit of talking, and him telling me that the pick was mine if I wanted it, I had my choice made.

Ended up walking out with 3 of the rye and 15, one 20 and one 107/10.

Big grin. Very happy. :grin: :grin:

Having that relationship with your store works. Can't stress it enough.
