I was in Indy yesterday partying in the SuperBowl Village. Wow, what a good time. Thousands and thousands of people.

We were buying our beer at the Kahn's on Pennsylvania. They had one bottle of Willett 3yr rye, picked it up. Looking forward to cracking it, knowing their ryes generally are well received

Picked up a Saz 18 2011. They had Rit 100 in stock. Should I buy a bottle or two at $25.99 each? I have never had a straight rye, but for about $50 on the BTAC bottle, I didn't think I could go wrong. I have been very happy with my BTAC Staggs and Wellers.

I picked up an OGD BIB last night and a Bulleit Rye this afternoon.

I hadn't had the OGD in a while, but it's as good as I remember. I'm just trying the Bulleit at the moment, and it's mighty tasty.

I found a VWSR Lot B at the state price. The only other one I've seen of late was at state price +50%.

I found a store a month ago or so that had 12+ bottles of the 2010 release all at state min. Bought one, would have bought more but was under the impression it wasn't worth the $55 state price.

I wouldn't pay more for the Lot B than $55 and I actually like this bourbon.

Bought 2 more Ritt BIB's today. Wasn't planning on it, but for $17.49 I couldn't pass them up, especially since you never know when they're going to be around.

I was in the store today buying some Weller 12 for a friend when I noticed the complete BT Single Oak release #3 on the shelf. After some quick research I came home with these:

I just got back from a weekend trip to Lexington with my wife, and came back with a few more selections of bourbon. I picked up a bottle of Four Roses 2011 Limited Edition Small Batch and a bottle of Elmer T. Lee from the Liquor Barn. I also made a trip to Blue Whiskey in Versailles and picked up a bottle of Four Roses 2008 Mariage. All are very good bourbons!

Picked up a bottle of Makers 46 and Elijah Craig 12 Year yesterday before the big game. The 46 is a little light for my taste, but certainly tasty. The EC12, on the other hand, is right up my alley.

After a month of searching and running into "just sold my last one" (I can't imagine that it is really THAT popular), I finally got a bottle of Knob Creek Single Barrel.

I like Knob Creek, but will be surprised if I can say this bottle will be worth all that effort. But for some reason, I just felt determined to get my hands on it.

I had a very successful morning. PHC Wheated for $70 and Vintage Rye 21 yr for $79. I didn't expect to find them...decent prices made me pinch myself.

Four Roses Small Batch. I had been meaning to get another bottle for a while---it was a regular "decent whiskey" pour for a while, but I had been using up some other stuff recently---and Binny's had the gift boxes with a flask on sale.

Was in Delaware so I decided to take advantage of their better than CT prices and no taxes.

Piker up a ER17 for $59 and a WTKS dark top for $39.

Went to a liquor store today to check general prices as I had not been there before. They wanted $25 for a bottle of WT101, $35 for Jefferson's, and everything was overpriced in general. Right before I left I glanced at the top shelf again, and they had RRBIB...for $14.99 a bottle! Sadly they only had 3, but apparently they are ordering another case soon!
