A Valentine's gift of Black Maple Hill s/b 14 from my girlfriend with an apology that it wasn't PVW. I think I've found a keeper!

Yeah....I would keep both:grin:

A Sazerac Rye and a Russell's Reserve 10. I wasn't planning on buying anything but the prices were ridiculous on both.

E.H. Taylor Tornado Survivor, hoping to make my back pain go away. Keep thinking about the Dino quote, "You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on."

Goodness! You guys all find ultra-rare, super goodness! Today I picked up an additional bottle of 12yr Weller, another bottle of Thomas H. Handy Sazerac, and Old Weller Original 107 in a pint-sized bottle.

Nowhere near the mind blowing awesomeness you guys are getting today :(

A little 2008 Handy at the moment. After dinner i think i will have a little pappy 23. After finding out i need to replace the sewer line in the basement i need to enjoy some of the good stuff tonight as i will not be able to get anymore for awhile.

I went a little crazy over the last couple days. I picked up the following: Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2010, Old Rip Van Winkle 10yr 90 proof, Old Rip Van Winkle 10yr 107 proof, and Old Fitzgerald 1849.

I also picked up a dusty bottle of Old Charter 8yr, discontinued label; with a 95 on the bottle. I am guessing its from 1995 because it is bottled in Frankfort.

5X 1 Liter and 1 x 750 SW Prime, 1990 & 1992. The guys working said they think they have more in the back. Too bad it's only 80 proof. It's been a good week for OF.

I was going to pick up a bottle of Jefferson's Reserve PS 18yr, but the local store wanted $122, which I thought was absurd. I found myself a bottle of JRPS 17yr about 30 minutes away, which is what I wanted to begin with.

Found three bottles of the Colonel E.H Taylor Tornado bottles, left the store with one of them to try...could not pass up even though it was $78 a bottle in S. Tennessee.

Well, I finally did it. After weeks of contemplating, I stopped by and picked up one of the last two bottles of BMH 23, Cask 1 left on the shelf. I look forward to cracking it open.

Nothing too special, but picked up a few things today.

Buffalo Trace Binny's Selection

Henry Mckenna BIB (never had it or seen it)

Four Roses SB (can't find Binny's OBSK or OBSV any more)

Rittenhouse BIB for $16! (Booyah)

Also picked up my first Weller SR (Binny's pick). Love it. Full on love affair with Weller, but I can't find any BTAC Weller. :( I'll keep tryin'.
