Killed off the last of a 1.75L of OF Signature before cracking open a 2007 OF Birthday. Really great night with friends, bourbon and beer!

Finished an Old Rip 10/107 today with two friends. That bottle finished as well as anything I've ever had.

Some good friends threw a Southern/bourbon themed engagement party for my fiance and I....I put out a few bottles that I wasn't too sad to see disappear or mixed with Coke, but didn't anticipate many of the guests drinking whiskey. Boy was I wrong. In the end I said goodbye to WR, WT 101, Virgin 101, Ridgemont 1792, and ORVW 10/90. Now to figure out what to replace them with...

Yet another OWA hits the recycle bin. I have really got to start considering finding this in bigger bottles... and/or stocking up more of it.

Farewell KC single barrel reserve. See you in several months when that "hey I haven't had that in a while!" feeling comes around.

I buy one every other time I'm in the store. I know I won't regret that move.

Finished off a bottle of Russell's Reserve tonight. It had managed to last over 18 months in my possession.

Finished off OGD 114 last night. In the last couple of weeks I have finished off Woodford Reserve, 4RSB and Kirkland Signature. What to replace them with is now the question. I am positive WTRB will be one.

Three more bottles went to bourbon heaven the past week. My vatting of OWA and WSR, an ERSB, and one of my favorites, an 07 WLW went home to retrieve their Angel's Share. :pope:

Finished a Lawrenceburg PVW 20 year on Friday while waiting out the storms that rolled though Indiana and Kentucky.

Make that four. A 1989 liter of Walker's Deluxe bit the dust while I was in the gazebo tonight. :frown:

Finally killed my first and probably last bottle of Bookers last night. Only took me about 8 months.

It's few and far between that I post in this thread, as my post count would probably double. :D But, tonight I killed a bottle that made me pause. Finally poured the last from a JPR 17 batch 2 that I picked up soon after it was released 2+years ago. Did I savor it for two years? Or, did it just take that long because I passed over it so many times in favor of other choices? The latter, I'm afraid. It was just OK whiskey for me.

Handy hit the bin tonight. Love watching the last pour with the char swirling out.

OWA is empty, very enjoyable, down to the last extra-large pour (what do you do with the last little 3/4 oz of a bottle after pouring a regular-size serving? into the glass it went, and I guess I'll sleep extra-well tonight!)

The OFBB'11 poured its last tonight while enjoying this calm before the rain with a padron '64. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to the next one.

Gave last rites to a bottle of Knob Creek. It has been replaced by its proof Single Barrel expression.

Finished some OFBB 2008. It's a shame the 2009 almost soured me on the Birthday Bourbon. Will need to knock out some 2011 next.
