BarrelChar
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is CEHT1B?Col. E.H. Taylor Single Barrel, produced by Buffalo Trace. In my opinion, a decent whiskey but wildly overpriced at $70+.

BBQ+Bourbon
Templeton Rye hit the bin last night...I have another in the bunker but I don't think I'd be willing to pay the $38 a bottle that Binny's is asking for it now. This is no time to start thinking about money, Bob. We're talking about your bunker!
jtexaslonestar
JPSR '17 had its dying pour last night and was given its last rites with a San Lotano Oval. I really liked the '17 and with the abundance of the '18 I will have to get a replacement, but at ~$80-90 may be a while.
jtexaslonestar
A dodo or an EWSB? Late on the reply, but no dodos of the avian variety here in N. Ga., but there are a few more '00 in the wild here. Dodo in EWSB is a delicacy in some parts of France. :skep:
Bourbon Boiler
I had to lay to rest my dark wood bottle of WTKS this evening. An absolutely great bottle and a great find. It will be missed.

barrelslime
Last night a friend and I killed a few bottles with a bit in each. Jim Beam Black, Crown Royal, and a Bushmill's Black Bush. They were great while they lasted....Farewell

They were great while they lasted....FarewellWe had a similar thing going last night while watching hockey. Four bottles with only a pour or two left in them bit the dust: OF Signature, ORVW 10/107, OC 101 and Zeppelin Bend Straight Malt Whiskey from the New Holland Brewing Company up in Michigan. I prefer NH's beers but the ZB wasn't half bad!
atfree
Since I have not been at this bourbon thing for very long, I just emptied my first bourbon bottle last night - Vintage 17 Bourbon (rye mashbill). No worries, as I have the wheated version to take its place.
DAD3
I said good bye to a bottle of ETL SB last night. There was only one left in her and I really enjoyed it.
Flyfish
Finished a handle of VOB. Fortunately, there is another one. And even better, when my wife went digging around on the bottom shelf of our liquor cabinet, she found two, count them, two bottles of Old Ezra 101 and a bottle of EW SB that I had forgotten I had. Life is good.
PaulO
I finished off my bottle of Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2009 release. It was nice. Was it worth the price of almost 3 Signatures? That's subjective. It is fun to try different things.
fishnbowljoe
I finished a Weller 12 and a semi-dusty Dant BIB in the last week or so.
Kyjd75
Finished off a Henry McKenna 10 year old BIB and an Elmer T. Lee. Really like the HM, more so than the ETL (although it was very good). The HM really surprised me, one of the best I have tried so far.

JayMonster
Since we could not bring them home from our trip, me and my cohorts had to finish off the bottles we purchased for this trip:Very Old BartonWild Turkey Rare BreedMaker's 46Already have a couple of these bottles at home, but the VOB cannot be revisited soon, even if we wanted to since it is not readily available here in NJ, and honestly, while it was surprisingly decent for a bottle that I could pick up for less than $10, I am quite satisfied keeping OWA as my everyday value pour anyway. Parkersback
I finally killed the bottle of Laird's BIB Brandy that I bought last summer. It's not bad at all, but there's not a lot going on there. I think if I was to replace it, I'd know that I'd mostly want to use it to make cocktails: I have a feeling it'd work better that way.

fishnbowljoe
I've been sipping on some Taylors lately. Both ends of the spectrum. I finished a dusty tax stamped 80 proof Old Taylor, and a Taylor Tornado bourbon in the last week. Both were great. :yum:
