Lazer
I was sick this whole week so I haven't had any bourbon since saturday night when I wrote up the Vbt #19 PHC 2012. Tonight my congestion is cleared up so I'm having my first pour ever of Bulleit. Very impressive. big fan of FR juice.

thiemb
Weller 12 and EC 18. Not the best bottle of EC18 I've had, and unfortunately it will probably be the last one I own.

Mikede1285
Decided to pour a glass out of a bottle of Willet Pot Still I had sitting around for the first time in a while after going through the recent thread about it. Can't say I'll be paying for one of these again, but I sure do love the look of the bottle. Really was the reason I bought it in the first place. Will have to use it for something once it's finally finished off.

squire
BB one cannot say too much about Blanton's, it's good stuff. I don't buy it though, while the whisky is primo I refuse to pay extra for a fancy bottle which for me is just recyclable trash.

If it would fit I would think that might be one good use of an empty WPS bottle. Perfect for the bar or game room! The lamps is nice but I think it would be even better if there were some sort of gel or epoxy like material that was golden brown in color that one could pour in the bottle and let set that would make the lamp look like it was still full! Not as big an issue with brown or green bottles I suppose but most are clear.
drunk
My liver got a much needed rest over the last two weeks, because (drumroll) .... it's a boy! My second son (third child) was born on 12/29. I had some Pappy 15 to celebrate once we got home from the hospital. With much less fanfare, I followed that up with the flu last weekend, so I'm just getting back into drinking shape. Had a little EWSB 2000 to ease back in last night. It's amazing how quickly my EWSB bottles disappear.Cheers!-Steve
thiemb
Bowman Brothers SmB. A solid every day pour with a nice finish. I've got one in my liquor cabinet at work, but may need to buy one for home.
smknjoe
Liquor cabinet at work, are you an attorney? If you were a doctor you would likely leave it in a desk drawer! Just messing around - don't answer if you don't want to.

smknjoe
I agree in principle, but I have a feeling in a taller bottle and without the horse stopper or velvet pouch, I'll pay a similar amount.

BradleyC
While cooking dinner I am having a little regular Buffalo Trace. My sister gave me some ice ball molds for Christmas so I decided to to put it in a glass with one of those. I really like the iceball concept. It's much better than cubes. I also really like the Buffalo Trace. Given its low price point, I'm very surprised it doesn't get more mention around here.
