Just got a Call from a Local NJ shop(Name on List). Pappy is in. 10yr $60 and 20yr $220...Sorry to say I will pass.

Going to order W. L. Weller 12. Let see what 2014 fairs with Pappy.

2:45pm - just ordered from Binny's (5) W. L. Weller 12...Told him about the Prices for Pappy in NJ...He laughed.

Since Pappy is get more Press Store owners are charging what the Demand is.

Those prices are absurd. How are they just getting them in though? Must be a distributor thing or returns?

4 X (750 mL) OFBB 2005

1 X (750 mL) Old Charter 10 (the current product seems to be 8 yo). This was the only bottle of this age statement on the shelf.

Purchased a 2012 Old Forrestor Birthday Bourbon. My son was born in 2000 so I have been buying up bottles from this year!

Found an E.H. Taylor Old Fashioned Sour Mash (the first Taylor release) and bought it since it was the only Taylor release I haven't tried (well, I guess I haven't tried the small batch either, but I'll get around on that one). Liquor store moved locations and found some stuff in the back. I'm really bummed however, they had a bottle of the High West 16 year rye, I put it in my cart, but after further examination, it clearly had laid on it's side to long, the whiskey was evident in the cork and on the seal and the fill level was low compared to the other HW bottles.

Finally found a bottle of Weller 12yo--been searching for a while. Also, came across a 375ml bottle of 150th Anniversary Edition Early Times (100 proof), which was on sale, so I picked one up.

Any secret as to how you IL boys are finding ORVW 10 or do your stores typically stock more top shelf stuff?

But does he get to drink the bottle of ORVW 10 first?

I suppose that will work as long as you don't let me see it comming...Goodfellas style.

I was about to post "Careful guys, he might decide it's worth it". In the time it took to send Joe a PM, he confirmed I was right.

1 x OWA

1 x Weller 12

2x WT Rye 101 (first bottles I had ever seen here, thought the rye at 86 proof is everywhere)

1 x OFBB 2008

Found a bottle of PHC 2011. Looking forward to trying this one.

If you are into finished bourbon, you'll love it. It is fantastic after a nice meal.

Blanton's, W12 and EC12 for a small stash in my new office. I've worked from home for a number of years but we need more space so I rented an office that I'll share with someone who works for me. I figure that having a few bottles in the old file cabinet is a smart move and I think this is a solid group to have around.

An office bar is a congenial place for friends to gather for a drink without the noise and smoke of a bar. Liquor's better as well.

Yea, the real purpose of my office stash is basically to turn my office into a secondary drinking place for myself. Two-person office within walking distance of my house and I'm the boss. Place is going to become a bunker basically.
