Special Reserve
1 hour ago, FacePlant said: O Canada. Beautiful scenery and great cigar selections. Baby #1 A Cohiba! A year plus after I quit smoking (mostly cigarettes, now over 40 years ago), I was in a tobacconist store in Toronto and I picked out a Cohiba cigar to enjoy. As I waited in line to pay what I thought was an outlandish price of S6.00 Canadian (approx $4.50 US) I decided to not buy the smoke. That's the last cigar I've had in my hands. The backstory is that I promised myself when I quit smoking that I could smoke a cigar on very special occasions and this was one of them. I'm happy I made that choice.

smokinjoe
AF Don Carlos Presidente. This cigar has been sitting in a non humidity controlled drawer for 3 months. Whoopsie, forgot about this one…. . Regardless, it is smoking perfectly.

smokinjoe
I figure I should not limp into the end of this weekend, so decided I should light up this San Cristobal Elegancia to wrap things up properly.

It is a very good one, pricey though. Right now my best of the best is the Plasencia Alma Fuerte. But it changes week to week, I guess.
fishnbowljoe
Maybe we could add cigars to the “favorite” lists and jargon. I had funny, sarcastic responses to posts ages ago. I can’t remember if it was favorite bourbon or favorite glass first. Favorite Glass?-The one in my hand. Favorite bourbon?-The one in my glass. Favorite cigar?-The one I have lit.
smokinjoe
With steady rolling and rumbling of thunder in the distance, I’m enjoying this CAO Gold Maduro. I don’t reach for CAOs much, though not sure why, as I generally like their line.

Skinsfan1311
Penn Standard. The leaf is grown and blended in Lancaster PA, and I believe that it's rolled in Nicaragua. It's a solid, reasonably priced smoke.
