Between a large pour for myself and a couple of samples that are going out, a bottle of Hirsch 22 Rye hit the bin tonight - fare thee well ye rock star rye!

Farewell Hirsch 22... or should I say hello? Thanks CW!

Henry McKenna 10 year old BiB, "Hand Selected by the Loch & K(e)y Society", Un-Chill Filtered, Barrel #693, bottled on 12/26/00

The Loch & K(e)y society bottles appear at Julio's Liquors in Westborough, MA, and also at some other stores in MA.

Empty now, no more available, but at least I've got a spare in storage.

92' fat Boy of OGD 86. Last of the ND juice years. Damn that was great butterscotch candy shared with many friends. Now I'm down to my stock of 88' OGD86, saving for special occasions.

Couple bottles were 86'd tonight. Sad about last pour of a FRSB store selected by Liquor Barn. Not nearly as sad at the BMH SmB. Have another bottle that I cant envisioning ever wanting to open.

Took a single barrel selection of Buffalo Trace to the curb. It was damn fine whiskey for $20. I'll have to get another bottle. The store selection was much better than the generic.

I should have been more clear... It does nothing for me except making a decent old fashioned. The first bottle was worth it for curiosity but the second was a waste of money

Loads of BMH SmB around here, envision buying more.

Cleaned out some stragglers this weekend: OGD114, a BT store selection, and a JPS17.

Trey, how did your JPS17 fair towards the end of the bottle? With the JPS17/18s that I've had, they seem to be heavily impacted by the airtime in the bottle. I think my bottles were open for around 6 months on average.

Said goodbye to a Cork&Keg OBSQ. Going back for more when I get a chance.

After a bad experience with the 2011 FRSB LE, this one has completely changed my opinion of the OBSQ recipe.

It's hard to finish anything at the Gazebo, but I (we) did manage to finally put down a PHC cognac the first night there.
