Enjoying a pour of 1792. This is consistently outstanding whiskey.

Joe let us know what you think about the 2012 PVW 15. Especially if you have an older model to compare.

I find myself continuing to reach for the smooth ambler VOS14. I really like the wood and spice on the palate and I'm also getting some cocoa nib on the end of the palate that continues in the finish, which is really nice. Very pleased with my purchase of these bottles.

So far it's pretty much what I expected an older version of ORVW 10/107 which is an older version of OWA. Both are 2 of my favorites. I'm glad I finally nocked this off of my list to try.

Enjoying my initial tasting of Ancient Ancient Age 10 year. This is a very underrated bourbon. Thank you to all of my friends at SB who suggested that I purchase some during a recent trip to KY.

So we should be seeing a post later in the Empty Bottle Support Group Thread!

Enjoy, my friend, they look like excellent pours tonight!

Finishing off a bottle of Hooker's House tonight. It's drinkable enough, but I never thoroughly enjoyed it like some others have. I'm not sure wine finishing really does it for me. might be too subtle for or just not all that interesting. I'll be happy to have some space on my shelf.

A little ER101 this morning. Life's good after a tough week.

Spent a wonderful night with some fellow SBers and others - amazing company with a pretty good selection of pours. Sipped some Old Crow (1968), different JPS (21, 18, 17), variety of WFEs (11 yrs, 7 yrs, 22 yrs), a Lawrenceburg ER 101, a Henry McKenna private barrel pick, and a Rutledge pick FRSB. Not a bad pour in the bunch (but my favorite was the WFE 7 yr I think). Thanks to Bill and his bride for their generosity in hosting! Great to meet and spend time with the Tallahassee contingent (Steve, Jon, Jim) as well!

I'll second that. My pour of the night was the Willett 22. Saved the best for last.

Had a small pour of GTS '12 last night and it was hitting all the right spots for me...loved it. Also killed of the final pour of an OGD BiB. Not bad, but I'll take the OGD 114 over it every time.

I stayed in the rummy end of the pool most of the night with some of the gems Steve brought along. But I did try that Willett 22 and the 11yo Willett with the fancy name I can't remember as well as the 17, 18 and 21 JPS. I thought that the 17 was fantastic.

Not to mention the great food provided by Bill and Kim and of course the great company! It was fun to meet the Tallahassee contingent.

Barton on the rocks with lunch.
Nice choice.

Today I cracked open the HH 6-year BiB. This stuff is great...especially for $10. It's even better than I expected. I didn't notice any of that corn taste that others have experienced.

Old charter 10... Drinking to forget the pick 3, 2 pick 4's and pick 6 that were all live into the final leg today.... No palace malice in the picks!
