Dolph Lundgren
Loads of FR1B down the hatch this week. Looks like this bottle won't last through this evening. They go quick. A bottle I feel like I just opened is already half-empty (yeah - I'm a pessimist when it comes to bottle fill levels).

mbroo5880i
I bet Bynum is celebrating with a big pour of Pappy. That $1600 price tag means nothing to him now!
michaelturtle1
Glad I won't see him schlepping around Philly anymore...Will now celebrate the departure of Bynum with a pour of SB blend

smknjoe
I think I might actually crack open this ECBP tonight. Mike, I've missed you in the DH thread. On a break?
michaelturtle1
Mike, I've missed you in the DH thread. On a break?Sort of, it is at least an hour and a half drive to a store I haven't been to yet... Not exactly conducive to lunch break hunting... I have picked up a ton of dusties in the last month but they have come through trades..
Wryguy
I hate to say it but Bynum might bring a new kind of sorrowNo greater basketball sorrow than watching the franchise get shipped to another team. Bynum is an afterthought of a player in the grand scheme of things, oversized contract, balky knees and all. Try being a Celts fan seeing Paul Pierce in a Nets uniform. Now I know how Knicks fans felt when Ewing left. LeBron leaving, for all the drama it created, is just not nearly on the same level, he just wasn't there long enough, he didn't gut it out through mediocre, lean years. The Truth has been compromised. That will drive you to drink. Not that I need an excuse. Willett FE 7 year 120 proof tonight.

In the interim we've had: The Drive, The Fumble, The Shot, 1997 World Series, 2007 ALCS, The Decision, the Browns moving to Baltimore, Baltimore winning 2 Super Bowls, and Jake Delhomme. Since 1964 Boston teams have won like 13 NBA titles, 3 Super Bowls, 2 World Series, and a few Stanley Cups. (smashes head against desk)I guess that Bynum is chump change; I was just looking for an excuse to drink some Stagg.
Rkkingsley
Geez, all this talk about Cleveland sports is bringing me down... and I'm not even a fan.Tonight, I'm doing a OGD114 Then and Now comparison. Here's what I've figured out: I like them both. A lot. The line has changed quite a bit in 32 years.

Kalessin
Mixing it up from the theme pour of the last few weeks... tonight it's W12 on the rocks. Tasty!(Apropos the Bynum/NBA chat a few posts ago: Boston may be thought of as Titletown now, but there were some seriously long championship droughts in there...) JPBoston
VOB BIB while watching the excellent pilot episode of The Bridge. Excellent stuff all around.Good to hear... I have that series set to record on the DVR, but I'm so backed up on shows, I may not get to it for awhile.I had some Larceny while doing some light evening yard work. I'll probably finish off my bottle of KC while watching TV with the wifey tonight. Edited July 11, 2013 by JPBoston
