First I've heard of anyone suggesting Grand Dad bottled in recent years had any noticeable variance.

That's more than a few places I've heard from that's said the same thing now. How does the 2013 compare?

I haven't had any bottled in 2013, though I do have one ready to be opened when my current bottle meets its demise. I've heard it continues very much in line with 2012.

No idea what year the current bottle I'm drinking from is, but it tastes mighty good.

I'm sipping some OGD BIB with a date of 3-31-12?!

i think I like the 114 a little better even for the couple bucks more, but

there is nothing wrong with this!

Barton 6 year. It's tasting great but I'm going to have to switch to something higher proof. Too damn cold in Louisville tonight!

I just mixed up the last of my Old Weller Antique 107 Cork 'N Bottle Barrel #67 and WL Weller 12yo.

The final measurments were 165ml OWA & 410ml W12.

That's in the 95/96 proof area if I have caluculated correctly, feel free to correct me.

I like it and I feel the sum is greater than it's individual parts.

Was that the 8 year or the 9 year? I stocked up on the 9 year but passed on the 8.

No age statement, yours had age statements?

The 9 year is known as the "Bonus Barrel". I just ran down to check what's in the basement, #67 is an 8 year. I only have one that I grabbed for a buddy.

Now that I think of it, the 9 year isn't recognized as part of their barrel program (they didn't pick it) so it doesn't have a number assigned.

A 9yo OWA, good goin', sounds nice.

This OWA/W12 I just put together tastes like a poor man's Centennial.

Pretty much Old Rip 10 but $45 for a 1.75. What I was told is that it was bottled around 6 years ago but the customer never paid and it sat on palettes until CnB bought it. Good stuff.

Booker's, KC SB, then WT RB. Then Booker's and WT RB. Then more Booker's. The Booker's seems like the clear winner. But it's only 7:45. The evening is young and I feel the WT coming on strong in the home stretch.

Damn if that don't sound stellar. Remember your friend in Lexington. :P

Any time, bud. Let me know when you're in town and I'll do likewise.

Haven't hit this bottle in a while, enjoying a "morning squire" this evening.

Tonight's new open bottle is the WLW 2013. Hides the proof well and seems like its in line with last years profile. Looking forward to getting some air time with this gal.

Think I'll follow it up with some Stagg.

Kentucky Barrel Society "Barrel "C" Bowman Bros. Small Batch. With it's sibling barrel, these continue to be my favorite Bowman's.
