393foureyedfox
im curious if the rest of you, like me, have found the taste and proof of OGD114 particularly appealing with the weather turning cold and clearly autumny?or maybe its just a coincidental run on the stuff lately..... bingstein
The bottle doesnt have the normal date indicators (unclear laser code, no bottle date), but it was very dusty. I would imagine early 90s.
Yeti
ECBP 134.2 closing out the evening. Three smallish pours of huge whiskies, and I think I'd rank them in the order I drank them.

suntour
Started with Buffalo Trace, moved over to modern HH Old Fitzgerald, and then went to Ancient Ancient Age 10 year and nothing is tasting right. We all have off nights, guess I'll have a seltzer and a crack at it again tomorrow.
Tony Santana
Some OF and some FC last night. I've been dabbling in the higher end of the cabinet lately, so thought I'd back it down a bit, enjoy the value pours and then the even better stuff will taste, well, even better. Happyhour24x7
Was out of town on business this week, so picked up a bottle of Old Charter 8yo, which is unavailable in my area, for the hotel room. Nice, easy drinking bargain buy.
PcolaDawg
Had my first experience with Eagle Rare last night. I was fortunate to get a bottle from one of the barrels specially selected from the distillery by the good and knowledgable folks at Market Square in Tallahassee. God bless 'em as they picked a good one imvho. This was my first time trying one of Market Square's barrel select bottles. It will not be my last. Tonight I will try my first Buffalo Trace, also from a barrel chosen by Market Square. I'm predicting an outstanding evening.
