What bourbon are you drinking - Fall 2013

Had quite the array of drinks this past weekend, including Makers 46 at a bar, OFBB13 later that night. The next day I hit a whiskey bar with a friend and had 4RSB, WTRB, and McKenna BIB in a flight. Later that night popped some (mediocre) EC21 with friends and spent the rest of the night sipping on Weller 12. A good weekend all in all.

Angel's Envy... Never know about this one. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. My wife likes it because it tastes like bananas. Sure wish she thought Kentucky Gentleman tasted like bananas instead.

Ah, the wife palate . . . I've considered hypnotism.

Drinking some SB Blend tonight - 50/50 OWA and W12. After letting it settle for a few weeks, I'm starting to really like the blend.

Sipping some 2013 FR LE SmB. I swear it gets better and better with each pour.

Watching the Sox game, I just noticed that the 4RSmBLE 2013 that I just poured from is bottle 6201 of 12468, or very close to being exactly halfway through the run.

Vanilla and fruit, really obvious in this glass. I like this whiskey!

Needed a high proofer to take the edge off a rough stretch for my family, so started with ECBP. Then some Old Scout. Since it's close to 10pm and the Caps game hasn't even started, I'm thinking at least one more, maybe 2.

TPS BT private barrel. Haven't been a fan on my first two experiences. It's not awful, it's just not very good, and to my mind not as good as the standard BT. Poured about three fingers on ice to see how this works.
