Phil T
It's beautiful ~60 degrees outside and all of the locals are bundled up in 2 layers and winter coats (I can't help it guys. I still get a laugh out of it .) I'm going to sit out on the porch and enjoy this weather with a big pour of 4R after I finish this W12 sample I have. Quite comical Joe. My sister is up at my parents for 5 weeks, and is already bitching about the weather. If I was in Houston, I'd be in shorts and a t-shirt no doubt

It hits 60 here in the spring and people start wearing shorts and flip-flops.
mbroo5880i
I live in the Indy area. It was below 50 degrees today. I saw several people in shorts and one person with no shoes on. Don't judge!OT, I am really enjoying mixing lower end ryes with lower end bourbons. Tonight's mix was HH 6 Year BIB with Ritt BIB (2:1). Pretty good! smokinjoe
Moved on to a 70's vintage Old Crow. 7 yr and 86 proof, decanted from the penguin decanter. Huge caramel. Massive, actually. What ND Old Taylor was to butterscotch, this ND OC is to caramel...:yum:
jeffrey r
Went to the back of the cabinet tonight, and went with a bottle of Pure Kentucky XO that I recall I vatted with Old Ezra 101 about a year ago. Still tastes good--who knows, they could be the same whiskey. Then a little Larceny.

Brisko
Started with some 2009 WLW. It's been open for about 2.5 years and it's really getting mellow. Moved on to some CEHT SmB. It follows the WLW really well. Oh and some Forester Signature along the way.

B.B. Babington
Down to the last few pours of some '10 THH. Very underrated juice IMO.People like it, especially since it's high proof rye. It's just at that price point there are other quality candidates for purchase. And some folks think age is important. Tonight I'm enjoying Rock Hill Farms a lot! Love the lingering aftertaste. I don't really mind paying $65 retail for a 6.25 year old barrel proof, myself. Others will certainly disagree, but it's the taste that matters after all.
