Don't think so... Hopefully we can get an official confirmation but I believe that's all from DSP-IN-1. If it weren't it would have to be labeled "A Blend of Straight Bourbons." In any case, love the Smooth Amblers I've had and I'm excited to try more in the future.

Interesting, has a very similar finish to HH BIB's...

I'm sipping some Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve, neat.

This bottle has an adhesive faux metal sticker on it proclaiming "Barrel #277 Hand Selected By Fred Noe For Meijer".

Not sure what that means, the "hand" part that is.

But at 120prf & 9yo this is about as good as a Beam can get.

I like it.

yip. no one else offers a 9 year old barrel proofer for under $40, and keeps it readily available....AND, it's damn good!

Glad he's picking good stuff for Meijer. I miss Meijer :)

Enjoying a nice pour (courtesy of another SBer) of some 4RSB OESO, Loch & K(e)y Society pick. Surprisingly spicy for an OE, although as a rye fan - me likes! :D

Actually this bottle isn't as good as others I've had.

The first 2 that I got were less hot but it should calm down in a week or so.

4R BS Private Selection, OBSV...seriously, this is one of those moments where i decide to add some shelving just to hold 4R for future consumption.

Okay, first off, smoking a Las Cabrillas stogie. Great recommendation from Cigar Aficionado!

1) OGDBIB

2) Fighting Cock (love telling my buds that one)

3) ECBP

4) STAGG JR

5) Bookers 130.4 proofer

6) CEHTBP

Please understand only a couple of fingers of each.

After all that, who the hell knows, and who the hell cares??? Good times on the back patio.....

I might add a small pour of the bottle of the month to the list tonight. I need to see if it's really that much better than the 10yr. I've been told I'm crazy for thinking they are pretty similar.

finding some great haunting violin solos on youtube while enjoying some Ezra 101. Its not a very good drinker, but it is a very good sipper.

First I had a couple of pours of Bushmills and now a pour of Henry McKenna Single Barrel. This pairing has worked very well this evening. Very enjoyable while listening to Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

I like your style!

Thanks, I shared the rest of my WLW with some of my friends and pulled out a flask of our GBS ETL. Once we knocked that out, we've been working on the bars bottle of bookers.

Late start tonight. Right now I'm comparing the PHC 7 to the PHC 6 (cut to ~96). The 6 is a clear favorite, but I really appreciate the overall quality of the 7.

OWA & Larceny.

Short message filler.

Just curious - OWA & Larceny mingled together, or just enjoying both? I've played around with that mingle and it ain't half bad (but alas it is no SB blend).

Was at a friend's house last night and he had a bottle of Schneider's picked ETL. Very good. Much better than the bottle of ETL I recently finished. Maybe I need to give ETL another shot.

Yesterday I picked up some 4R Small Batch. It's the regular version. I don't know if I ever tried this before, or was it a long time ago. I really like this bottle. It has a nice thick mouth feel, good legs. It's very different than 4R Single Barrel. I like this better. The Small Batch doesn't have the cedar type dry note I taste in the Single barrel. I would offer this juice to someone that hasn't tried a lot of bourbons. Hard to beat for $22 at the grocery store.
