Some OWA from '06. So much better than the NAS bottles I've had recently. This tastes as good or better than the current ORVW 10/107. I've found the newer bottles to be much hotter and more medicinal. This is more like liquid caramel.

Knob Creek is very popular with the bars and casual drinkers, but KCSB.....doesn't seem to be, so much. It, like Booker's, seems to appeal to a small crowd.

That's the one yeast I have yet to secure. I think you're right, it doesn't seem to get much love...hardly any private bottles that I've encountered. All in all though, like everything else 4R bottles I'm sure it is in a class by itself.

That it is. I have yet to find any FR product I don't love. I haven't had the O or Q yeasts yet, but the GS OBSK is really good, the LE SB '12 OESK is great, all OBSV's have been good, especially the 17 year GS bottle. I just can't get enough of Four Roses. Binny's is supposed to have all 10 in stock in the next few weeks and I definitely plan on making a big FR order.

Really enjoying some PHC PoH at the moment. Definitely pricey for what it is, but love the fact a portion supports a good cause.

I have had several PS OBSF picks over the last year that have been fantastic,I think it is misunderstood and disregarded in many ways.With the right pick it can be a truly incredible profile that is both unique and rewarding.

Poured out the last of the EWSB in a glass and thought it just needed a bit more for a pour. So I splashed in a little ECBP.

Resulting mix had a lovely shade of dark, dark copper brown, and drank quite well for the rest of the night.

Monster week, that took it's toll...But, gots a Big-o-Fire goin' in the outdoor fireplace, and I'm solvin' world problems in front of it with a big-boy pour of A Bowman Port Finished. The nose on this whiskey is positively glorious. Hyevah, that won't be stoppin' me from drinkin' it!!
