Haven't sat down with a nice glass in a few weeks so I monster poured GTS 2011 before dinner. I think after dinner I'll have a hot toddy with WTRB.

Revisiting Bookers tonight. It doesn't get a lot of love around here but I enjoy it more than the other JB expressions

Just cracked open a bottle of Maker's 46. It's pre-chilled, been in my trunk for a few hours (15 degrees tonight)

Brought over some high proof bourbons to one of the stores I frequently visit. We did a comparison b/w PHC6, Stagg Jr., ECBP Batch 1, and GTS. Then we finished the night off with a pour of FR 125 for good measure.

You musta drunk a goodly bit of that ODGBIB. If anything is bourbon zen, it's that....

Old Fitz BIB DSP KY 16 bottled at 24. If I could this would be a contender for desert island bourbon. Finishing up with same glass educated by the BIB with a pour of Warehouse 4R SB OESQ 9yr 3month. Sweet sweet stuff.

I've really been impressed by the Q recipes that have come across my palate the last couple of years. Of course, just about everything 4R & Mr. Rutledge sit on the table is impressive to me. :toast:

OWA while using the new Xbox. Floored by the new tech they built in....the Xbox, not the bourbon.

Climbing the BT ladder while watching Ohio State dominate Indiana: BT, then ER 10, and then ETL. ETL the clear leader even though the other two are quite worthy.

Started the afternoon with some GBS ETL. Now sipping some lovely ND Bourbon DeLuxe. Butterscotch bomb on the nose, and a pleasant all around pour!

Heading out to see a friend that's visiting from San Francisco. Bringing ECBP 134.2, FRSB OBSF selected by P&M Eric, and the Faultline bourbon from K&L. I figure if he likes it, he can just grab a bottle when he gets home.

The Faultline, by the way, is really excellent. It's just deliciously drinkable and balanced. A nice value for those who can get it without jumping through hoops, and still worth the trouble of hoop jumping for the rest.

My wife threw a baby shower for a friend today so a few buddies and I watched football and did a little tasting while our wives were at the shower. GTS '10, stagg jr, FRSB, EWSB, black maple hill, and Willett pot still. Not a bad afternoon.
