First night on the town since the baby was born. Enjoying a small pour of 2006 William LaRue Weller. I am in love with this whiskey.

Having a couple pours of OFBB13 again. I'm really enjoying it! Glad a couple of fellow members encouraged me to bunker up earlier in the thread! I appreciate the nudge!

Cracked open a family size Dickel #8 that I just bought. Good thing I don't mind that vitamin note that it's famous for, because it's got that in spades. I think I prefer the #12 but I have no complaints about this guy.

My best friend was diagnosed with melanoma yesterday. Canceled work to be with him and cracked open a ORVW 23yo decanter. A toast to the fight and we will revisit after each milestone. Cant think of a better person to share it with. Great bourbon to ease a shitty situation. Love you and your family Trav.. tim

Stagg Jr. Liked it, just didn't love it. Hoping that it gains something after being open a few days. Also been hitting ETL on a regular basis.

Things could be worse.

Finished off the last of my Larceny & opened a new bottle of Jefferson's Reserve. Served back to back on the rocks I preferred the Larceny & think I would purchase it again. I bought the Jefferson's after loving the Presidential version I tried. Clearly not in the same league,(Pres vs Res) although I will try the Jefferson's Reserve neat this weekend to give it a more fair exam.

I'll raise a glass to your friend, and look forward to hearing good news with his fight.

I'll pour something special tonight as well and wish your friend a speedy recovery. Best to you both.

Ezra B 12sb little bitter at the end last night but a day and some air. I'm liking it. Nice nose too. I still really don't trust myself to express nose, and taste passed that. I haven't really tried a whiskey that I would pour down the drain yet. Beers, and Wines there are plenty that have gone that way.

A taste of ER10 (Westport bottling, thanks globalguy!), OC10 (a favorite), Jeff 10 and a little taste of WSR (7 yr).

Haha....or Ten High!

I kinda wanna try the BOTM, the JW Dant.....but from all the jokes I've heard about it, I kinda expect it to fall into this category. Maybe that and Mellow Corn should be my next. I don't expect much from either, but maybe I'll be rewarded.
