Yes

It's a 129.7 proof from this summer. I wish they'd just write the batch # on them (god forbid it kills the marketing mystique).

I have a ECBP 2nd batch i need to open one of these days to compare. See now i HAVE to buy another from the GS for side by side comparison.

That one is fantastic. I'm going to have a second pour now and finish the bottle. This is going to be my third bottle gone in this month. I have more bunkered.

Cheers

I respect anyone who buys that one by the case! My state thanks you for the tax revenue.

I started with a nice pour of SB Blend, but seeing this makes me want some ECBP. Good call!

I'm gonna change my name to SquireDisciple - OGD 86, '87 vintage......neat. I'm in bourbon heaven.

Many of us took that title already. Sorry. You will be disciple 9568.

:)

Wheater night for me: PVW 20; OWA; and JPS 17. All different, but all the same in a way. That caramely sweetness on entry and on the front of the tongue, and great mouthfeel with sweet vanilla and candied fruit finish.

Ahhhhhhh......may have to go for another:grin:

Sounds mighty good. I haven't had PVW 20. Do you mind comparing it to the JPS 17?

Finished a small glass of Bowman Brothers and now on to Rittenhouse BIB. The Ritt always hits the spot! It's going to be a great weekend!

Popped a new cork - my first taste of FRSmB to complete the 3 standard expressions.

Let us know what you think. My favorite is still FR1B.

Nursing a little ER17. Too lazy to get up and check which year, but I think it is the 2007 if memory serves.

Not bourbon but I'm currently working on a few fingers of Mellow Corn. I really enjoy it as a total change of pace drink.

Had a small nip of FR OESK GS before lunch. Did some shopping and came back for a pre-dinner sampling with some friends. Rowan's Creek, WR 4W, Willett 11 year Liquor Barn, Stagg Jr., FRSmBLE13, and SA VOS 19.

Sipping some 2013 OFBB after a far too long of a day. Started at 6:30. Got home at 11:30. Sheesh. A long day deserves a huge pour :-)

Had a Willett 10 yr old wheated private barrel selection from DEPS tonight. Along with ECBP and AE rye. The barrel profs were good and the AE rye really rounded off the night.

ezra 101, then KC120, then OGD 114. the OGD 114 is a whole different beast. I still think it needs a lot of airtime to really appreciate it, but the KC120 still tops it. there is jsut something "full" about the taste of the 114 though

a pour of 2013 birthday bourbon, really quite different than anything else i have tried. Almost an axetone taste before it opens, and mellows considerably. Followed that with a bit of 4RSB
