I need to make some room in the cabinet, and my ETL is down to about a quarter of the bottle, so time to go to work on that sucker. Plus, I like it.

I miss watching games on Boston's Channel 38

Oh, you are so right. I liked Remy on NESN but he's got bigger problems now. Not sure if he'll be back anytime soon.

Half day today, so going to start off with a bit of HH 10yr.

Short pour of some Campfire. Taste buddies are definitely out of shape (first honest pour in 4 weeks!!)

Fall is finally here with the days in the low to mid 80's and the nights getting down into the 60's. I think I'll celebrate with some Four Roses and then some OWA.

First pour of Jefferson's Reserve, this won't be one of my favorites. A bit thin/light/weak on flavor. I'll save this for my cheap lawn mowing cigars.

Larceny in a pumpkin-apple cider mix. Best part of Fall.

You gotta hit us up with that recipe, please. :)

CnB ETL #15, had an IIPA earlier, Shorts Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. Hops lingering and messing with my palate a bit.

Did a tasting of FR 125th, FR SmB LE 12, and 09 Mariage. Tough to pick a winner, they were all very similar in greatness, but I gravitate toward the 2012 as my favorite.

I picked up a couple ORVW 10/107's from this years release today, so I'm about to crack one open to enjoy with a cigar

Last pour from a FR SBLE 2013 OBSK. The Yeti Spice Bomb edition. Really solid pick by JR and company.

I also tend to like the 2012 a little better from the last time I tried the 2011, 2012, and 2013. Of course, they are all great. I enjoy each of them tremendously. It's only when they are put together and a preference has to be chosen that I lean just slightly towards the 2012.

Still working on how I feel about it neat, but I can say that the Bowman gingerbread finished bourbon is delightful in coffee.
